The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne's famous adventure novel. Crafted from anthracite precious resin, the Classic Fountain Pen follows his second journey from Bombay to Yokohama. The heroes undertake this part of the adventure on majestic elephants, whose figures are depicted on the cap. The clip features a playing card with a red lacquered diamond, while the cap top is engraved with patterns inspired by Princess Aouda's jewels and playing cards, representing the wager that Mr. Fogg completed his 80-day journey. The number of days of the journey, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama, for a total of 80 days, is embossed on the top of the cap. The handcrafted 14K gold nib is decorated with hot-air balloons marked 20/10 and 14/11. However, Mr. Fogg departed from Bombay on October 20th at 8:00 PM for Yokohama, while we departed at 6:00 PM on November 14th.
